Craft Aid UK is a non-profit organisation that was established in 2009 to support two projects in Uganda.  Initially established to support an existing organisation for street children,  Craft Aid UK has now alongside this project started a project of it´s own which is a healthcare and sanitation programme in Kammengo Ffunvu a remote village in the Mpigi district of Uganda.

Initially Craft Aid UK is building a clinic that aims to tackle the critical malnourishment and HIV epedemic which is crippling the village.  As a community based project once the clinic is built Craft Aid is aiming to implement an ARV (antiretroviral) programme and a basic GP and nurse practitioner service to provide a community health programme enabling villagers to get a much needed health care system in place.

Our clinic as it currently stands:

We are currently raising money to complete the plumbing and electrical installation before we can finally plaster the outside and set about putting in a floor and furnishing the building ready for use.
